Happiness is not letting people make you unhappy, happiness is not needing anyone to make you happy.
Hi, Deb here, you also know me as Deb Denair (Debonair Designs)
Well, easier said that done . . (referring the quote) especially when one is operating on exhausted adrenals, like me and in the midst of a pandemic too.
I welcomed the New Year in at the hospital after an emergency root canal from a tooth infection, with my loving husband at my side, we pulled through.
Entangled is an appropriate word I would use as we both managed to get me through an exhaustive battery of tests, from MRI, blood tests, IV drip, ugh and not to mention having to hear our masks too, well except to eat. ….
Tests came back all clear, and now after much research I am taking herbal medications which is much easier on my system.
I came home two days later to my loving family, and now I am on the fast track to a full recovery too.
Anyhow with courage, conviction, a cuddle among two (may need a few more ha), along with my husband’s patience, unconditional love and care (dedicated research, he is after-all a scientist, our son is too).
I now have the gumption, determination to see things through. Inspired also by Shirley McClain in the movie ‘Out on a Limb’, I want to reach for the stars, grow and break through this battle of the senses. I suffer from exhausted adrenals, anxiety too, but I now have the tools with heartfelt thanks to my family, friends/amigos along with hearty meals along with a spot of knitting too . . . .
Here is a quote taken from my shawl called ‘My Wings’,
You were born with potential, goodness and trust, ideals and dreams, with greatness too.You were not meant for crawling, so DON’t. You have wings, learn to use them and fly! . . . seriously, take care out there, watch your thoughts, your actions and follow your heart’s desires.
PS: There are more people who need love and support, unconditional LOVE, think of them instead, not forgetting our furry friends, birds too. We have a 12 year kitty, whose healing purrs help us too, pauses for reflection .
Those who hate war will never find peace, but those who love peace will find tranquility, security too.
Take care, hugs Deb
